So today I decided to head into town and treat myself to some new clothes which I haven’t done in months and after asking on twitter, it seems like people wanted a haul post so here it is!
I had no idea of what I wanted to buy in here, I went into my local store (Northampton which is where I also used to work!) and had a good rummage through the rails of clothes. The first item i picked up was the red-orange top and I LOVE it! I’ve put on a bit of weight recently so I need more floaty tops and this is perfect! The material is so soft and the detailing on the front makes the top wearable for all occasions and for £4, what could go wrong?!
Next, I found this khaki top and is exactly what I had been looking for! Shoulder holes? Check. Floaty? Check. Smart/casual? Check. It ticked all the boxes and when I tried it on at home, I fell in love! At £8 it is a tad more expensive than the red top but is still cheap and perfect for everyday wear or even for a meal.
Now this playsuit is something different and not what the style I would normally choose. I love Primark playsuits as they are cheap and the material is perfect for your summer holiday! I saw this on the mannequin and decided to pop one in my basket. I tried on all my clothes at home because I could not be bothered to wait in the queue for the fitting rooms! When I first put this on I was unsure because of the neckline – it is not something I would normally choose but after sorting it out and asking my boyfriend for his advice I do like it! The colours are summery and the material is so lightweight – it can either be a poolside playsuit or pair it with some wedges and jewellery and you have yourself a night time outfit. For only £6 it is so worth the money!
I also got new pair of black skinny jeans as I am in dire need of a new pair as mine are so faded! I need to take these back unfortunately as the button is broke! I popped into Primark last week with with my mum when she came over and I thought I’d put in here what I purchased!
First thing I picked up was a two pack of elephant tea towels. Now we don’t really need them but if you know me and read my 25 facts about me (if not it’s here) I love anything to do with elephants! These towels are so pretty I probably won’t use them to dry my dishes! I don’t have a photo of the tea towels as they are currently in the wash but I will update the post when they are washed!
My mum then offered to buy us these elephant tea light holders for out flat and I also LOVE them. They fit perfectly on out mantle-piece and with the IKEA vanilla candles burning in them the make the room smell incredible.
I then headed over to the makeup section knowing Primark have released the candy collection and I was not expecting to find it in there! So I picked up the eyeshadow palette and I am yet to try it as I haven’t been wearing makeup so I’m excited to try this out!
Finally, I picked up this three pack of interchangeable chokers. I have been loving chokers recently and i though the grey and chain ones looked beautiful!
earlier today, we headed to B&M as we needed some cleaning products (boring) but while we were there i decided to pick up some props for blog posts! The first thing I got was the Cinema Style light box and I have wanted one of these for ages! I think they look great in photos and make a great addition to any home. I can already tell I’m going to love this!
I then wanted some small lights and I couldn’t find any I liked in Primark last week and i stumbled across these ones and for £3.99 I couldn’t say no. Say hello to good flatlays (kinda) from now on!
Completely unrelated to anything but I what i needed to share with you was this… 99p cans of wine!! I nearly fell through the floor when i saw this and had to get some, they are perfect for when you fancy a glass of wine but don’t want to open a bottle or for those summer BBQs. A necessity in my eyes and I will be stocking up soon.
So that’s my haul from today and I hope you enjoyed reading this! Hauls do not happen very often from me as I’m saving up so I can’t say that there will be some more soon!
