7 Holy Grail Items

Hey everyone!

Today’s post is all about my holy grail items for skin, make-up and hair! Hope you enjoy..

Collection Lasting Perfection

Who doesn’t love this concealer??! I cannot do my makeup without it and I also love the colour correcting ones. I have no more to say on it as you’ve probably heard it all before but I love it. You need to buy it and it is a staple in my makeup bag.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

I love this powder for setting my foundation when I’m not baking (which is 99% of the time). I also love this powder as although I use it mainly for setting, it also has good coverage if I want a lighter foundation day. Most people use a translucent powder to set their make-up but due to my skin I need the extra coverage!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I am obsessed. It creates the perfect contour for me and is just a dream to blend out. I’ve tried other contour powders and creams but nothing compares to Hoola. Its quite pricey (£28 I think) but it lasts AGES and here’s a tip – buy yours at the airport, I paid £20 for this! You can see how long it lasts – I’ve had this for 6 months and wear it whenever I wear makeup and it looks virtually brand new! It’s worth investing in I think.

Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil

In all honestly, all of Benefit’s eyebrow products are my holy grail! In my collection, I have Goof Proof, Gimme Brow, Ka-Brow, Ready Set Brow and High Brow from their last release and I use a combination of them all to get my perfect brow. I love Goof Proof as I can use it lightly when I just want to fill my brows in, or use more for a more full face makeup look. If you haven’t tried it, you need to!

Unique1 Hair Spray

I wa introduced to this spray when my Auntie opened her hair salon about 5 years ago and ever since, I have not gone a day without it. As it says, it is an ‘all in one’ treatment where it aims to fight 10 different hair issues from frizz and detangling to caring for your split ends and a heat defence spray. I save so much money as I have 10 products on one and that, is ideal! It also comes in a coconut scent and I love that for summer.

The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Face wash, Scrub and Mask

This has saved my skin. Thanks to my PCOS, I get quite bad spots when I’m off my pill and this wash keeps them at bay. Now my skin is better – not perfect, I don’t think it ever will be – I use this along with the Simple face wash, as the tea tree can be quite harsh if I use it twice a day, every day! But when my skin is bad, it clears it up within a few days and I finally feel like I’ve found the product for me, just 8 years too late!

Vaseline Lip Balm

Normally I have this lip balm in a stick but it can’t find it anywhere – its probably in a random bag knowing me but I love using this on my lips. I’m allergic to Shea butter, which is found in 99% of moisturising products (cry) so there is little choice for me in the lip balm section. I use the vaseline every day to keep my lips hydrated – especially in cold weather and it also has SPF 15 in it and I’m all about the sun protection! It can get greasy but I’m used to it know and I love me a good moisturised lip!

What’s your holy grail item?

I love the Collection concealer and the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I’d love to try the Benefit eyebrow products though, they’re on my makeup wishlist.

Definitely try them, there’s such a range! The only one I haven’t tried is precisely my brow and that also looks good! X

Yeah and me! I’ve just started using the boots tea tree range (too poor for the body shop ahha) and that’s also good! Yeah I need lip balm 24/7, I have so many on the go! X

I ADORE the Benefit brow products. You’re right to call them holy grail products! But I’m dying to try the Hoola bronzer – I’ll have to check it out! Thanks for the recommendations!

I don’t do my brows with anything else and haven’t done since they released the collection! You need to try hoola, it’s matte so is also good for fair skinned! That’s ok x

I had no idea Revlon made hair products! That sounds like something I’d really enjoy using. I don’t like to use too many products in my hair so I appreciate when something can do more than one thing x
